A world-class biomedical research, treatment and education institution, City of Hope was founded almost 100 years ago. City of Hope is one of only 41 Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the country – the highest designation bestowed by the National Cancer Institute – and a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, which defines and sets standards for cancer care nationally. The Senior Vice President of Financial Operations is a newly created position, and will lead the financial operations related to Revenue Cycle ($520 million net patient revenue), organization wide financial operations, including Medical Center, Research, Development Group, Business Support Services and Supply Chain ($150 million organizational spend). Leads an ERP and ICD-10 system implementation and provides financial oversight for a $30+ million Clinical Informatics System implementation. Other responsibilities include establishment of policy and internal controls, capital and strategic planning, organization wide financing decisions, and obtaining strategic pricing. This position has oversight for approximately 120 FTEs.
