St. Joseph Health System is an integrated health care delivery system providing a broad range of medical services. The system is organized into three regions — Northern California, Southern California, and West Texas/Eastern New Mexico — and consists of 14 acute care hospitals, three home health agencies and multiple physician groups.

The Area Director of Pharmacy is responsible for managing the Pharmacy Departments at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Petaluma Valley Hospital (St. Joseph Health System-Sonoma County). The Area Director will embrace and articulate the mission, vision, values and goals of the St. Joseph Health System-Sonoma County to create a culture of trust excellence and shared purpose. The Area Director of Pharmacy reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer for the service area. The Director will have 41.5 FTE direct reports.

The successful candidate will have 5 – 7 years recent experience in acute hospital pharmacy setting, and will also have 2 – 4 years hospital pharmacy management experience.

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy; PharmD Preferred; Current California Pharmacist License
